One would wonder why Jesus Christ should come into this world? Indeed, both theological minds and secular minds have probed this question throughout history. Nevertheless, many people have honestly concluded that Christ came to save us from our sins and to heal our sicknesses, others say He came to save us from poverty to make us rich, some also maintained that He came to give us power to perform miracles and over the devil. While all these responses might be quite legitimate, they only represent a part of the scope of His purpose for coming into this world.

What would you do if you have thirty-three years to live, and eternal message to preach on earth? The Lord Jesus made the purpose for calling the disciples very clear; to make them fishers of men (Mark 1:16-18, Luke 5:10). 

The Lord Jesus duplicated Himself into the disciples through the teaching of the word, and charged them to do the same (Matthew 28:19-20, 2Timothy 2:1-2).

The Lord Jesus Christ had a purpose for coming into the world, and that is to reveal God to us (His disciples) and to world through us. Every born again child of God is a disciple, and must understand that he/she have been commanded to preach the word.
